MatiLou... different styles, all extremely pleasant... these are only a few examples of Anne Cresci's tender illustrations... she is a french artist from Lyon who prints her illustrations and paintings on canvas, posters, postcards, stickers, magnets and other little cute things, using digital art techniques... you can admire many other images from Anne's "Little Art for Children" (Petit Art pour Enfant) at her website Matilou, or to buy her creations at her on line shops MatiLou - Etsy o MatiLou - Dawanda.
w.ho made it (chi ha fatto questo)?... no... non si tratta di un quiz!!!... w.ho made it è lo pseudonimo di Wendy Ho (w.ho made it)... un'artista americana di San Francisco che realizza, tra le altre cose, questi originalissimi contenitori per gioielli... appena li ho visti ne sono rimasta affascinata!
Wendy racconta di se stessa:
"Fino a poco tempo fa io non ho mai pensato di poter fare delle mie creazioni una professione. Sono stata a scuola, ho studiato per diventare insegnante, ho lasciato il mio paese per andare in Giappone a fare l'insegnante, sono ritornata ed ho capito che amo insegnare ai bambini, ma ciò che amo veramente sono le arti e le attività manuali, così ho tentato di esplorarne meglio i segreti e di metterle in pratica prima che fosse troppo tardi e prima di rimanere intrappolata in un lavoro che realmente non amo. Un giorno stavo leggendo una rivista di lavori manuali ed ho scoperto Etsy. Il giorno successivo ho fatto una foto di un paio di orecchini che avevo realizzato e li ho inseriti on line. Poi fortunatamente sono stati immediatamente venduti. E' stato un segno definitivo così ho continuato ed oggi sono qui con il mio Etsy shop!"

w.ho made it?... no... it isn't a quiz!!!... w.ho made it is the nom de guerre of Wendy Ho (w.ho made it)... she is an american artist from San Francisco who makes, among other things, these fanciful porcelain jewelry stands... as soon as I saw them I was fascinated by them!
Wendy describes herself:
"I never thought of doing hand made as a profession until recently. I went to school, studied education, left the country to go to Japan to be a teacher then came back and realized I love teaching kids, but what i really love is arts and crafts, so i better explore it more and do something real with it before it's too late and i'm stuck doing some job i don't even like. One day i was reading craftzine and found Etsy. The next day i took a picture of an earring i made and posted it. then lucky me, it was sold instantly. It was definitely a sign so i kept on going and here i am today with my own etsy shop!"

FromHollandWithLove, un grazioso Etsy shop che vende diverse tipologie di tessuti floreali in cotone, borsette ed accessori molto carini (portachiavi, astucci, puntaspilli, ...), tutti interamente realizzati con tessuti, fiocchi e passamanerie di produzione tipica olandese... chi è l'artista?... sto ancora cercando di scoprire il suo nome... per il momento so soltanto che si tratta di una designer di gioielli ed ex proprietaria di un negozio di perline e componenti per bigiotteria situato nel centro della vecchia cittadina olandese di Delft... dopo aver venduto il suo negozio, attualmente si dedica alla realizzazione di borse ed accessori di stoffa... date un'occhiata alle sue creazioni ricche di fiori colorati!

FromHollandWithLove, a beautiful Etsy shop that sells many floral cotton fabrics, unique bags and nice accessories (key rings, pouch, pincushions,...) made from original typically Dutch fabrics, ribbons and lace... who is the artist?... I'm still looking for her name... I just discovered that she is a former jewelry designer and owner of a bead shop in the centre of the old Dutch town of Delft... after selling the shop, she have now started to design and sew bags and accessories... take a look at her colorful floral creations!
Non ho scoperto molto di quest'artista polacca di Varsavia... ma le sue illustrazioni sono davvero molto poetiche... dovete proprio dare uno sguardo al suo Etsy shop MiaMiBox ed ammirare tutte le altre sue fantastiche creazioni (foto, collages digitali, segnalibri, piccoli oggetti,...) nel suo spazio Flickr *mia_mi*... sono realmente affascinanti!!!

I haven't discovered many news about this Pole artist from Warsaw... but her illustrations are really very poetical... you have to take a look at her Etsy shop Mia Mi Box and to admire all of her amazing creations (photo, digital collages, bookmarks, little things,...) at her Flickr page *mia_mi*... actually enchanting!!!
